iOS problem in thumbnail and photo slider

I am using MediaPlayerController from the sample codes to stream video files

as a part of this I am required to show any frame of the video as a thumbnail. Is it possible in iphone ? how ?

Also I need a auto running slide show of pictures as in default photos application. Any pointers regarding that ?
