Hello,
I'm new to Mac, so please be patient with me.

I have OSX 10.4.11 Tiger. I installed GimpShop, which installed well except for one thing. To use it, I need to create a folder in my user folder named .gimp-2.2

It seems I cannot create a folder with a dot as the first letter.

Anyone know how to fix this? Or does anyone know of a free graphics program that will work with this OS? Don't say Gimp, already tried that...didn't work, even the older version.

While knowing where everything is might be useful, even I use Spotlight. Otherwise a /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app is fine too.

I'm surprised GimpShop didn't just create the directory in your home folder. It did for me.
