With Crossover, what I've noticed is that it created a new .app from the contents of a Windows installer. I've got an installer that I'm trying to run through the Crossover Installer, but all it's doing is copying the files from the installer to a folder; it's not create a new Mac OS X application.

I've tried running the program itself as a straight .exe file after 'installation,' but runs so slow it's unusable. I was hoping that having Crossover 'repack' the program would make it usable.

Any ideas?

If your curious, I'm trying to run the old game Hover! from the Windows 95 CD-ROM.
