From the rEEFIt boot menu, I choose the USB bootable drive with Windows 8 64bit and it begins the installation startup. I clicked custom installation, deleted the 250GB partition and reformatted it for Windows, but it then tells me Windows cannot be installed on an MBR partition and requires GPT.
Not really clued up on all this, so I don't know if there's a solution. I installed Windows 7 64 bit on my 2011 Macbook the same way and I didn't encounter this. Could anyone offer a hand? Cheers.
EDIT: Is it likely to be successful if I just burn the .iso to a disc and then use the Boot Camp utility for the whole installation or would I face the same error during installation (i.e. is it an EFI issue)?
