problem: iphone ringtones goes down by itself

i am getting very annoyed by this. everytime i turn the phone on and off the ringtone seems to go from the loudest setting to about the middle setting by itself.

its very annoying.


and now it seems to be doing it after about 5 mins. i dont like it as i have to maually be setting it all the time. ive tried restoring it...


anyone else have this problem and know a fix to it?

i had that problem...i re-installed the 2.0.1 FW, and it went away...i guess i THINK it was the reinstallation...

I have the same problem. There are discussions about this on apple but no one seems to know what I'm talking about at the apple store. My alerts also stop working sometimes, but the ring tone sound issue is ALWAYS a problem.
