problem launching final cut pro

i have final cut pro as well as protools.
recently i purchased WAVES plugins for protools yet now when i try to launch
final cut pro it tries to launch the Waves plugins with it.
this has never happened before i made this upgrade in Protools.
i don't want the waves plugins when using final cut pro.
