Problem moving iTunes files to Galaxy s5

There are files that I want to transfer from iTunes on my iMac, to my Samsung Galaxy s5. I have downloaded and tried to use Kies, but it didn't work. Kept telling me that it couldn't detect my remote device. Im using the same cable that I use to charge my phone, and that cable works fine.
Any help?
