Every once in a while when i wake my 27" 2012 iMac from sleep, i have to "paint" back the screen by dragging a window around.

I've read about this somewhere before, so i know i'm not the only one. I thought the issue might get solved with one of the latest OSX updates, but under 10.8.5 it is still here. Occasionally.

Is there a solution? Who's to blame? Is it North Korean hackers?

It's not a big problem though, just annoying.

NOTE: The black square is just to cover up some personal information (non-porn kind of private) and is not a part of the problem. When the problem occurs only a window or a small portion of the screen is visible. The rest needs to be "painted in".
