Problem reading WD HDD

I keep getting this message:
"the disk you inserted was not readable by this computer" on my iMac with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4.
It used to work just fine until today, also I don't have a problem accessing the hard drive on my PC.
Can someone help solve this problem?
