I have a 3g and i cracked the screen. i got another screen from a different iphone 3g and the connectors wont connect. is I can get 3 and 2 but not 1 on the wires

i can connect the screen to the phone that it came in( which fell in the toilet) and the one that works the screen that is cracked will work in the phone that it came with it. they both are 3g
