I have two POP3 accounts set up through mail. The incoming servers are different, but I cannot send mail out through one, so I use the outgoing server information for both.
I know how to set this up, and even confirmed it with a mac "genius." Often, when mail is first launched, if I try to send a message will appear that the message cannot be sent on the selected server xxx.com. It asks me to select another server, and the only option is the same xxx.com server that it said it couldn't use, and yet when I hit "Try this server" it always goes through. It's like I have to send every message twice. Very annoying. Sometimes after selecting it, messages afterward go through. I tried to run the connection doctor, and it said all servers were fine. What's the deal?
