Problem signing into App Store

I have 10 Apple Apps that need updating, but every time I try to sign in to the App Store, I see a popup
with my old (20 yrs ago) email address ID greyed out. I cannot log in. Ive reset my ID, PW and Security Questions, but STILL the same problem trying to sign in to the Apple Store.
Any suggestions?
