I have a M2 MacBook Air 16GB 1TB. The computer has been consistently giving me a problem when swiping left or right in mail and messages. It simply won't swipe. If I restart the computer it works ok for a while. Then starts up again. I have restored the computer once to see if that would work and it hasn't. Does anybody have any thoughts on this? Thank you

Are you updating from previous version? If yes, would be worthwhile to backup, reformat disk, install OS and check if the issues still occurred. Once it’s gone, restore the backup. If no or issue is still present, probably hardware related issues.

edit: if it happened only in Mail app, try using other mail app. If it’s gone, you may just need to create another user and move everything to the new one,

Thank you. I did reformat and reinstall Ventura. It didn't change anything. The same thing happens in Messages as well. It doesn't happen all the time. So strange.
