hello there! i hope you guys could help me in this question (and sorry for my english, i'm from portugal so probably there will be some "errors" on my spreech. so here what's going on:
i have an iphone 3gs running iOS 4.0.1, and for the first time i started to use exchange...
i made a quick reading before, and i set up my iphone with an exchange account from google, in order to sync my calendar, my contacts and my mail..
i did that because i also wanted to have push working, so when i got a new mail, instantly it dropps in my iphone so i can read it rapidly, or when i edit some informatons on contacts, i got those modifications right way on my iphone.. it's all ok this service, except one "little thing" that is driving me crazy...
in google calendar, i got 1 major calendar and i subscribbed the birthday's calendar (which picks the information on contacts and set the data of anniversary into the calendar)...i put both these calendars on my iphone, but i have here a problem....
when i make changes in the major calendar (such as input new event - in iphone or in google calendar itself) the information is automaticly updates in the other side (if i input in google calendar, the information is visible right way in iphone and vice.versa), but the same is not happening in the other calendar....
if i add a new contact, and i put the date of anniversary in google contact, it automaticly can be seen in google calendar, but not in my iphone... that shouldn't happen???
i don't understand, i thought taht one edit was made, that information would be transmitted to the other side, but that isn't happening with my birthday's calendar...
if i go to setting, mail-calendar-contacts, and turn off the calendar option inside the exchabge account, and then turn on again, those modifications become visible...
but i don't want to always turn on-off this setting...
can someone help me please???
thanks in adanve!!
