I just got my iPhone 4 yesterday. While using it all yesterday I had no problems (buying/running apps, calling, texting) and today when I connected it to my iMac for the first time, it started creating a back-up. The progress bar moved about 5% of the way, then stopped moving. After about 5+ minutes of no more progress, I clicked the on the 'device' part of itunes menu. I then got a spinning color wheel for a few minutes before force quitting. Tried it again and the exact same thing happened.
Then I went to preferences and made it so that the phone does no automatically synch, so when I plugged it in after this I had no problem. I then dragged about 15 songs from my itunes that I wanted on my phone, and after synching '1 of 15' tracks, no more progress for a few minutes, then a color wheel when I clicked on the device.
Any reason why this would be happening? I had an ipod touch synched to this itunes and baked-up. Would that be affecting it? Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.
Thanks!
