if you want to skip the story below, i get error messages saying resouces have been modified or the signature was invalid, so it couldn't sync with my iphone, every time i try to sync.
if you didn't know, the tomtom app is 1.3 GB. I tried downloading it on my phone, but that didn't work. So i downloaded it onto my computer, and tried to sync it with my iPhone (3GS), and i get an error message "the application "US & Canada" did not sync to the iPhone "iPhone" because the resources have been modified" i have also gotten an error message saying "the application "US & Canada" did not sync to the iPhone "iPhone" because the signature was invalid". i have no idea how the iphone applications work, and the significance of the signature and what resources have changed, but it is keeping me from installing the tomtom app. I have talked to apple in the apple store, and they tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing my account, redownloading the application after deleting it, restarting my phone, pretty much everything i tried before i brought it in, and nothing worked. They told me it was tomtom's fault. i called them, not expecting to get a resolution, and i didn't get one. So i called apple, asked for my money back, and they gave me a refund and told me to tell tomtom my problem, but i already did that. I have no idea what other route to take, and now i have a $100 application on my computer, that i was reimbursed for, and i would love to have the app for free. Does anyone know how to fix this? thanks for reading this long post haha
