Hi when transferring books to my Ipad using Calibre Library when the tasks appear as done the books do not appear on my Ipad tried a few times but same problem can anyone help pse

to get books onto the iPad you must do so through iTunes

you will need to make sure all the books you are trying to load are in the epub format.

once the books are formatted you will need to import them into iTunes

plug in your iPad -> select your iPad in iTunes -> Select Books -> Sync Books -> All

at that point all your books will be imported into iBooks

Easiest way to get books on the iPad IMO is through DropBox. Make sure the book is in ePub format, load into dropbox, access through dropbox on iPad, and hit "open in iBooks" (or something similar) and you should be all set.

Agree with previous poster...dropbox is the easiest way. Open dropbox. Click on the ebook you want to download and the ipad will automatically download it. When it's finished downloading, click on the box with the arrow on the top right corner, then click on save to ibooks.

using dropbox -> goodreader -> iBooks will only work if the op has his books in either ePub or PDF format. If he doesn't have the booms converted to either format the he won't be able to open them in iBooks...
