problem updating app after jb

just went to update my paypal app, asked for my password on the applestore then it said this apple id is only available for uk i.d? :confused:
do i need to download some package to allow updates now?

managed to get around it by updating the app on iTunes on my mac, then syncing iPhone again. strange why i can't do it from app store on iPhone?
