Problem updating Bootcamp 3.2 on XP Pro

Basically the Apple updater says that I need to reboot for the installation to complete. When I do nothing happens and 3.1 is still there. I tried downloading the file and it runs, the windows installer window comes up and then goes away. That's it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Many months ago I tried to update my Bootcamp and couldn't. I just gave up on apple getting it right.

My computer seems to be running fine, so I'm not too worried about it.
