Problem updating iPhone apps

I have not had any updates to any of my many apps in the last week on my 3GS. Usually I get at least 2 updates a day. Is there a known problem with the update process?

is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

Over the holidays I had some days with no updates displayed, ie number of updates available above in red bubble above App Store icon. Seems to have gone back to normal now.
