Hello,

I am having a problem installing Mac OS X on my new 1TB hard drive. When I pick the HD to install it in, there is a a triangle that says I cannot install on the disk. It reads "to install on this disk, open Disk Utility by choosing Utlilities > Disk Utlility and repartition this disk using "GUID Partition Table" Can I have just one partition? or does it have to be less than 500 GB? Thanks for your help. <M>

If in Disk Utility, click the PARTITION tab and press the Options button to select GUID as partition scheme. A partition scheme is needed, even if only one partition is used.
