i am using my gmail account on macair as well as on my iPad
recently i noticed that i had a problem when viewing my sent messages when on the macair : it would not display all sent messages on the macair , only the sent messages sent from he macair , but not the ones sent using the iPad , whilst on the iPad it would show all the sent messages even those sent using the macair
i was puzzled , and whilst in London I went to the apple shop where i bought the macair to ask for assistance , and though they were puzzled too , they finally solved it , showing me that on the macair , the "mail account"is on the top right hand side , but if you slide down we find the "gmail account " , and in that one all sent messages are shown ...yes i know it is bait confusing ...something to do with the way apple interpreted some of the data ....
anyway they did a manipulation which merged the "sent " section on "the gmail " section with the "sent " section at the top of the" mail " account , and all sent messages from any computers were now shown
only up until yesterday , when all of a sudden , i now have only a few messages showing on the "sent " section of "mail " , and if i scroll down , i find the Gmail account where all the sent messages are , though they do not show the addressee they all show my name , and only going in the individual message do i see to whom they were sent ....
anyway , does anyone know how i can merge again that "sent "section on the "sent" section of Gmail , with "sent" section of mail on the "mail" side ?
does anyone understand what my problem is ?
