Problem w/ Minimizing Windows when running iChat

I recently got a new iMac, and I'm having kind of a weird problem.

Whenever I'm running iChat and I want to look at my iTunes window, the browser window I have open won't minimize. Even with Expose or clicking on the iTunes window behind it, the browser won't go away. I've tried this with Safari and Firefox, and they both have the same problem.

Any thoughts?
