My kids made a video, edited it in iMovie and burned it to a CD. When we put the cd into our macbook pro and play it through QT Player the video pauses and stutters and the audio is not synced up to the lips, and that's if and when the audio does come on. The CD is fine as it does play as it should on the pc desktop that we have. What are we doing wrong?

Thanks.

Open the video in QuickTime, press CMD+I, make a screenshot* of that Movie Inspector window** and attach it to your next post.

Btw, did you try playing the video from your internal HDD? If not, copy it from the CD to your Desktop and open the file from there and see if it plays better. Have you also tried other players like VLC or Movist?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I actually opened iMovie and imported the video and it plays fine in iMovie. So now at least we can watch it. Still don't know why QT Player can't play the CD correctly though. I'll try to tackle that at a later date when I have more time.

Thank you.
