Problem while partitioning..

When I try to partition my hdd using the bootcamp utility, it comes up with a message at the end saying something along the lines of "Operation failed, cannot move files"..

Any ideas what to do? I have heard that defraging helps this out, but I thought that you didnt need to defrag a mac?!
