Alright, here's my situation. I've set up Boot Camp running Windows XP in a standard 32 GB partition. Now, I've been using Crossover on my Mac Partition to run Team Fortress 2, but now I want to give it a shot on my newly installed Windows chunk. To avoid having to entirely download Steam and TF2 again, I want to try to simply copy the files between partitions.
As I understood it, OS X can read Windows partition files, but not write to them. However, it can write to FAT32 partitions, which can then be read by Windows. So I've tried to establish a 3rd, FAT32 partition for the sake of transferring files, but since making it the Windows partition won't boot - I get a "Sorry for the inconvenience but Windows did not start properly" message anytime I try to boot.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or how to fix this?
