it seems that i somehow got a small 1inch by 1 inch piece of paper in my 12 in powerbook cd slot and now it wont eject the cd in there...how can i fix this or open up the laptop to get the paper out?

thanks in advance

IF your laptop is under warrenty take it to a repair center and have them open up the computer and take out the CD drive, if your computer is not under warrenty and you want to do it yourself make sure you get a good set of screw drivers, and google up the Apple service manuel for your particular powerbook. There are a lot of screws, and some are well hidden, if you don't want the risk have a certified technicain look at it.

sadly, i dont have a warranty, I have a local frys i can go to but i hear its 50 bucks just so they can see it and im not paying that, so i have to find somewhere else or go crazy and try it myself. i have experience with pc desktops but never done laptops before, we'll see
