I just bought a Apple 17" LCD Studio Display, and a 64MB GeForce MX 4. My old VGA monitor is working with this card, but the Studio Display isn't working at all. I tried it on my old ATi Rage 128 Pro, and still no luck. Then, I tested it on my dad's G5, and it worked perfectly. How do I make this thing work on MY Mac?

No offense, but why buy that at this point? There are many many good monitors out there that offer much better specs than the ASD's.

As far as your problem goes, does the ASD appropriately connect to that card? I know on my Fiancee's G5 she has a 17" ASD and it has that special apple connector on it.

I've wanted an Apple Studio Display, regardless of these other displays' specs.

Now, I tried this on my other card and it still did NOT work, and it may be both cards, but the point is, there are NO issues with the ports or anything like that, because it worked properly on the G5, but I'll make sure of that.
