Problem with 3G iPhone not waking up/not responding

I've had my iPhone for about 3 weeks now, and just had a first problem with it two days ago, and this has happened one more time since. My iPhone was asleep, and when I went to wake it up by pressing either button, it did not respond. If I plug it into the computer, then the screen activates, but after I unplug it, it stops working again. However, if I restore the phone, then it starts working again. The first restore lasted two days. I just restored it again, and hopefully this one will last.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it going to keep freezing like this? Should I try to take it back?

Any suggestions?
