Problem with a repeating occurrence in iCal

I have a what I think is not too complicated setup in iCal. I have a repeating occurrence each sunday at 18:00 and each week i edit a few to have unique names (titles of lectures). However recently iCal has become really slow changing months, or changing these 18:00 dates, to the point of 100% CPU, used by iCal and syslogd, looking in the log, it is absolutly full of these messages:

17/05/2009 11:59:17 iCal[37811] Attempting to registerChildEntity when a child with that recurrence ID already exists:[.](5016,2008/05/18 18:00:00 (3600) - DateTime |TZ Europe/London (BST) offset 3600 (Daylight))

I looked on google, but the phrase "registerChildEntity" does not come up anywhere (check the link yourself )

I was just wondering what could be causing this problem, thanks to anyone who can help, or anyone who has any pointers regarding this problem.
