problem with Absinthe

Hey guys

My iphone 3gs was on 4.1 with ipad baseband.
I updated it to 5.1.1 in order to jailbreak it with Absinthe but i cannot.
The iphone is on ipad baseband but Absinthe asks me to activate the iphone first. There is no way to activate an ipad baseband without a jailbreak.
so in simple words, im stuck.
what can i do?
