Problem with Apple TV 2 & XBMC

My current set up is with a jailbroken Apple TV 2, XBMC, and a program called PlayBack. Sometimes when I'm watching a .mkv show in 720p from my laptop with the above programs, it stops, freezes, and quits XBMC (and thus the show). Other times it works fine. I watched a show twice last night with no problems and then this morning it kept quitting.

What can I do to fix this? It's been driving me insane. I can't seem to go directly from my laptop to XBMC because my computer just doesn't show up on the list otherwise.

Could it have anything to do with the speed of the wifi in my house maybe? I don't know, I just want to fix this.

Make sure you have all updates applied through nitotv. The atv has limited ram clear it in settings before you start xbmc. If wifi was the issue it wouldn't crash just stop and buffer.
