I have an avi file. the video codec according to the quicktime info window is xvid, so i got prian or whatever it's call. video plays fine now. funny thing is the audio - quicktime says the audio is just mpeg layer 3.... so why won't it play? vlc can do it....

it's probably corrupted.... vlc is having problems playing it halfway through
