iPod touch problem with bookmarks

Well I chose the option to sync the bookmarks on my ipod touch with safari on my computer.

Problem:

It added the folders "Bookmarks Bar" and "Bookmarks Menu" and it wont let me delete them on the Touch.

Don't know what else to do, besides restoring my iPod.

Don't worry, We're listening. Those folders are getting added to my Touch, too, and I would LOVE to get rid of them. I'm scouring the web and doing some trial/error, so I'll let you know what I find out, and you can do the same. Let's stick together on this one, and/or wait for the next software update.

Did anyone figure out how to fix this problem? I'd love to get rid of them too.
