Sometimes when I boot the computer in the morning, and sometimes when I reboot during the day, the computer displays a circle with a diagonal bar through it and the booting process stops.

If I then hold the power button in for while the Apple logo appears and the booting process then proceeds normally.

2017 27” iMac
10.14 Beta (18A314h)

My MacBook Pro with the public beta kept getting stuck at the Apple logo on bootup. I tried holding "shift" to go into save mode, but that didn't solve it. I then turned off my bluetooth Apple keyboard and trackpad and they computer finally started up as normal. It could be a bluetooth bug.

Do you have any bluetooth connected peripherals?

My 12" MacBook had a similar rebooting problem right after I installed the public beta. I was able to boot onto the recovery partition and reinstall MacOS. I did not lose any data, and everything works well now.

The only bluetooth peripherals I have are the mouse and keyboard that came with the iMac
