Dear All,
Ater having gone through many many forum dicussions I have unfortunately not found an answer / solution to the problem I am dealing with. The problem is that I have just loaded all my music into Itunes (new laptop) and I am now trying to organize all the genres of each album. This I do by right clicking the songs, going to "info" (at the top) and then chaning the genre to the correct one. Though it all seems to go correctly, once I click ok the genre is not changing.
I have read several strings talking about the solution to this being to un-check the "read only" box of all the music files in the "properties" section. This has had no influence whatsoever for me... even though i unchecked this read-only box for all music files, changing the genre in Itunes still did not work.
I have to add though that once I unchecked the read only box, closed the properties window and then reopened the properties window, the read only box was checked again... Very strange again...
Hopefully somebody can help me with this problem??
Cheers,
Sebastiaan
