I've searched but have been unable to find a permanent fix for my problem.
I'm running Chrome 13.0.782.220 OSX 10.68. I regularly (1-2 times per week) get "Waiting on cache" message and Chrome hangs. I've read about using Tools - Clear cache to fix the problem but surely there is a way to prevent this problem rather than waiting for it to happen and then reacting.
Some of the articles on this problem refer to going in to the System - Library - Caches folder and delete the Google cache files. On my iMac, there are no Google or Chrome files listed in the Caches folder.
Anyone have a permanent fix?
