Hey all,

I have a 2012 Macbook pro. I am having a problem with some of the keys on the keyboard. My first macbook died due to a liquid spill after that no liquid goes near my macbook so I am not sure whats going on here.

Anyway for the past few days the shift key and the spacebar key have been very gummy. They work but when pushing down its just very gummy, no liquid has spilled on it there would be SOME sort of residue but there is nothing and the surrounding keys are 100% fine and NOT gummy.

Now the spacebar is sometimes gummy and other times it makes a annoying clicking sound when I hit it....sounds like a old type writer. The shift key is still gummy lol. The backlight works fine but can anyone help with these issues? What can the problem be?

thanks
