Problem with contacts app

Today while I was trying to add a contact I noticed the + (add) button wasn't there. When I open the app, I see it for a brief second then it vanishes.

If I try to add a contact from the phone app it just crashes.

And I Don't have icloud enabled. I tried it, but still didn't work.

Please help me out. Thanks.

Have you tried a hard reset? Hold the home and power button, the screen will turn off, keep holding until the apple logo appears then let go. This clears many problems, hopefully will solve yours.

Yes I am jailbroken, but the contacts app always worked.

Yes I am jailbroken, but the contacts app always worked.

Uninstall ANY tweak that MIGHT interfere with the contacts app. Always say that you you JB or not when making a new topic BTW.

Boot up your device holding the volume up button. It'll disable all your tweaks, see if the contact app works fine now
