I have a problem with cycorder. I bought my iphone 3g used and jailbroken. I downloaded cycorder but it doesn't work. The screen just goes black and then back to my apps. i don't know how to find out what system i am running either. can someone help me?

I'm researching WHY Cycorder doesn't seem to work on my newly purchased (new to me anyway) jailbroken iPhone 3G with iOS 4.2.1.
In my new-to-Apple naivety, I don't understand why Cycorder seems to be the most recommended iPhone 3G freeware video recorder (based on my Google searches) - yet - it won't work on what appears to be a common iOS.
Over in this thread, today, I asked WHAT options we have to resolve this:
- Why would Cycorder simply flash black & blank out on a jailbroken Ios4.x iPhone 3G?
If you guys can help us devise a solution, all benefit, now, and in the future.
