So I just got my new Dell 30" and the max resolution it will go to is 1280x800. I can switch it to a higher resolution but the image gets so distorted that I have to use my other monitor to switch the resolution back. I'm running a 1900xt video card so I know it can handle it. Even though it shouldn't make a difference, I've already tried both dvi ports. Is there anything I'm missing?

You should be able to go up to 1920x1200 even without dual-dvi. It's weird you can't get even that much. Is your refresh rate set to 60?

You might want to try hitting F8 during boot and setting the graphics mode manually. Type:

"Graphics Mode"="2560x1920x32@60"

or whatever resolution that monitor does. I'm not sure exactly.

Try testing the display with a different video card and the video card with a different display...maybe one of them is malfunctioning.
