I have a 2008 Mac Pro running Snow Leopard that has two monitors attached: one 1920x1080 main monitor and a $2 low-res one on the side. I keep them continuous (not mirrored), but I have to sometimes unplug the side one for something that crashes if I have two monitors.
When I plug the side one back in, it usually (not always) goes into mirroring mode and forgets my arrangement that accounts for it being a little higher up on the stand than my main one. It's annoying. How do I make it remember my setup?
