Problem with DVD Player

Sooo...

I'm having issues with the DVD player on my laptop. After having taken it into the shop to get it fixed, I've been trying to play DVDs in the past couple of days and have realized that there is a faint "clicking" sound, during which the DVD freezes up.

Anyone have any clue as to why this is happening?

Sounds like a problem with the player (likely the gears). Get it replaced again.
