Problem with DVD studio pro and Final Cut 6 HELP!!

I simulated the burn, and it looked fine. When I play it on my PS3 and xbox 360, it cuts off a bit of the right side of the screen. On my computer's dvd player in the mac dvd player it looks fine. What should I do?

What kind of TV are you trying to play it on?

Are you aware of "TV Zones" or "Safe Zones"?

I'm playing it on a Sharp Aquos 26". The footage is 4:3 and I have it set to display it without stretching. I do know a bit about safe zones.

In DVD Studio Pro, turn on the safe zone and see if your footage is getting cut off.

You could also check this in FinalCut Pro.

I just tried it. According to the program, it is cutting off less on my TV than it says it should be.

The safe zones don't show where a TV will cut it off because that varies by TV set. What the safe zones show you is where is a safe area for titles (the inner square) and a safe area for action (the out square) so they won't be cut off by a TV. They are buffer zones basically.
