When running Panther it wouldn't allow printing.

So today I have booted into Mac OS 9.2.2. The print quality is poor. I have been running the Head Cleaning Utility greater than numerous times. Used Nozzle clean, Head cleaning, & print Alignment. When I print for performance I still am having missed dots.

There must be something that I'm missing.

I have continued to run the Head Cleaning Utility since my last post. Sadly the result of the performance is only degrading. The printer was bought with my G4 on September 1st, 2000. It makes the printer more than 3 years 5 months old. My thinking is that the printer is on the seriously critical list.

Well the good news is that printers are pretty cheap these days. It's the ink that's expensive! We got a free C84 with my wife's iBook in December actually. Thing only retails for $99, and it gives a decent print.
