Hello all!
I have an external HD attached to my MacBook for Time Machine and storage (separate partitions). For some reason I cannot modify any files on the backup drive through finder (move, create folders, etc.), but Time Machine still backs up.
I also have this folder shared over my network. I was trying to get my wife's computer to mount this drive so it can back up via AirPort as well. When she connects to the shared folder she can modify files, but TM says she doesn't have the permissions to access the drive.
I'm pretty much getting mixed signals all over the board. My sharing and drive info windows both say that all users (me, my wife, and guests) have full access, but it doesn't behave like we do.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
