We recently exported an H264 .mov from final cut x and checked it on a PC (via usb) to see if it played in WMP and VLC which it did... ALTHOUGH, when we burn it to a Data DVD using toast 11 and take the dvd over to the PC it will not play the file on the DVD. We've copied it to the desktop, still won't play. We've tried other footage and it works fine on the DVD. any thoughts?
Windows Media Player error:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file"
VLC error:
"VLC cannot recognize the inputs format"
Would toast be able to change the codec??? makes no sense to me.
