So I'm in a group text with 4 other friends that we use daily, but one friend just switched from an iPhone to a Nexus 4 which does have group text capability. She wasn't seeing any of my messages on her group text because my phone was still sending as iMessage even though not all members have iMessage now. My other friends texts are going through as SMS WITHOUT having to turn off iMessage. The only way I can get my texts to go through to all members is by turning it off, but then I cant use iMessage in other conversations or I have to toggle between using it and not using it which is annoying. Is there a way to tell my phone that the other person isn't using an iPhone anymore? My other friends had no issues with it.
