Hi,

Don't know if this is the correct form to ask the question below.

On my old Intel MacBook Pro from 2016 I've always had the issue that when I needed to mirror my display using a HDMI splitter to a beamer AND external monitor the output on the beamer and the external monitor started flickering immediately.

So the setup was MBP -> HDM Splitter IN -> 1 output to the beamer and the other output to the external monitor.

Using the external display or beamer alone was no issue. Also all Windows laptops that I tried had no issue with this setup.

Since a couple of weeks I have a new M1 MacBook Pro 16 and I was hoping this issue would be resolved. But it still has the same issue.

Anybody has any idea what is wrong with my setup and why I get that screen flickering on my Mac and not on Windows ?

Thanks!

Thinking that it could be related to internal graphics, on Windows laptop, it might be better & appropriate generic drivers
M1 SoC is having this problem from the box. Odd, according to how much power was stated
Display Port could be a solution as well as
