Problem with "Hide caller ID" option

Hi guys,

I use "Hide caller ID" option sometimes, but it failed several times.

Is it know fact that this option is unstable? So it usually works for me, but it turned out several times that somebody actually got my number. Is this my operator's fault or what? I'm using T-Mobile. This issue makes the "Hide called ID" option useless, how can I be sure if it works or not?

I think Pretty much the only effective way to know is to ask people you call whether your number is received or not, since this “hiding caller ID” option is a bit more of a user’s choice than something else as ISP will always have the correct number logged in their system anyway.
